Just tell her, Mom I would have mentioned this earlier, but I figured you wouldn't take it too well, so I've been putting it off, but I'm moving into my own apartment! Then she'll lecture you on a million reasons why it's not a good idea. Listen to her reasons politely, tell her you will take all her reservations to heart, but that you are determined to be on your own and creating your own life now. She should be proud of you!

Even though u r old enough 2 make your own decision. As a respect, u sld let her know asap even she is not easy 2 talk with.
2 a mother, no matter how old r u, u r still a child in her eye. Talk 2 her nicely. Bring her 2 te apartment, let her how much u like it. It wont b so hard 4 her 2 accept it then.
Gd Luck!

I wouldn't wait until I was packing my stuff to tell her. You need to sit down like an adult and explain to your mom that it's time you had your own place. This is the first step to becoming an adult so you need to start acting like one. Your moms' job of raising you is finished now, she has to let you go so she can watch you fly on your own. No parent wants their children to move out, you will understand when you have your own some day. We all have to leave home one day and we all have to face our parents with the news. Sometimes it goes well and sometimes it doesn't. However, everytime we are better people for it. Just be straight and honest with your mom and everything will be fine. Good luck and GOD bless.

Set her down & say "Mom, we need to talk. Im a grown up now & need to live on my own. I know Im not giving you much time to come grips with it, but Im moving out on the 1st." You just have to be straight about it. This gives her a couple days to get use to the idea.

Since she isn't easy to talk to then just come out and tell her b/c u are old enough to make ur own decisions and u have to live ur life too so just try to break it down the easiest way.(tell her the truth) parents have to let go of their child at one point of time.

GOOD ON YOU!!
You need to try and explain to her your moving out saturday no matter what she says or does, and that you both need to make the most of probably the last time you'll ever be living at home with her!
If that dont work, dont give up, still go on saturday and let her know your serious!

Look if you're old enough to move out on your own, then you're old enough to stand up and tell you mom. Just march in there and tell her and let it all out. You don't really have a choice, so quit being a wimp and go tell her.
