So I'm working fine for 2 weeks(still sick cause dr. never found out whats wrong with me)So last Tue. I was on the way to work got sick on the train & was taken to the ER. I called my employer to inform them of this they ask was I going to be put back in the hospital I said ast this point I'm nt sure but I dont think so but I'll call you & let you know what happens. So finally I'm release from ER as soon as I get home my job called & told me my assignment was ended.( They said we understand you sick) Do I qualify for unemployment benefits?

being a temp svc, they just may not give you any more assignmments, but tell you they will call you.
i live in WI, and when something similar happened to me(because of then-current working position conditions/very poor ergonomics, i was filling in for a woman who was out for carpal tunnel surgery), they got me right back to work in a limited-capacity position (seminar "hostess": smile, greet, pass out seminar info, that sort of thing) and since they immediately got me back to work, i could not collect unemployment bene's nor workman's comp. doesn't sound like they will put you back to work anytime soon, if at all.
apply immediately! for best results. forms are available online. try georgia.gov or unemployment.gov. and, of course, seek other avenues of employment. best of luck.

It depends on how much you have worked in the prior year.I think it is about 9 months prior to being unemployed that you have the ability to qualify.

You may be able to get it as they let you go, but are they not willing to find you another job?
