I been trying to get with this guy for quite some time now, but for some reason he goes thru these frequent mood swings. One second he is just a gift from god and so easy to talk to and such a conversationlist and it would last a few days to maybe even a week to a point where he actually makes you feel comfort and warmth and wanted and ready to move to the next level- then BOOM evil, stubborn, defensive, distant and all sorts of foul behavior kicks in and I freak out to a point where I just keep away in the hopes that he tones down ....and sometimes that can take weeks to months. the longest we stood apart from speaking was an entire summer. Now just a few weeks ago we speak now and we been speakin on a regular and just great with it and now BOOM he is his evil again....and mind you this has been going on for over a year.
what is this...is this some kind of bi-polar thing or craziness or what...I swear this brother has me so lost it makes me want to never go out with other men.

If I was u I would ask him why is he happy one minute and mad the next. If it doesn't change I would just tell him that we can't talk anymore. Gurl trust me I know these things cuz this happened to me one time and I just kept on letting it slide then one day me and him got into this big argument and we got to fighting over that so do what u think u need to do and follow your heart.

You ask what we would do? I'll tell you what I would do ... I would ask myself why I have such low self esteem as to allow myself to be treated in this way. Don't try and be his shrink - he is a grown up and he will know whether or not he has mental problems. If he respected you and cared for you he would have gone for help before this. He would not want to risk the relationship. But it does not sound to me like he is bi-polar or anything else. He sounds like a typical spoilt brat who gets bored with you every so often and engineers a fight so that he can go off and do his own thing. I knew someone like this once. It took me a while to get out but I did. Only then did I realise just how damaging that kind of relationship is.

Well it could be bi-polar, but I think he's either playing games or he's not really into you. If a guy likes you, he won't go back and forth. It's hard to say what's wrong with the guy really could be that he's seeing someone else and the timing isnt good. I think you should move on cause at some point you have to think that your time is being wasted. Never go out with someone that acts evil to you.

Don't give up on all men just yet. I do suggest giving up the man you are with. You have a man who is all about drama and if you don't dump him now, you will become consumed with it. Get out while you can and find a guy who makes you feel comfortable and wanted all the time. There are many guys out there who are not like your guy. Get out there and find him. Good luck and GOD bless.

Sounds like this bloke has some type of psycological issue. Bi-polar could be a strong possibility.

Why don't you wait until he back to normal mood then you have to tell him the truth that something wrong with him and he needs go to doctor in case if he doesnt know that. then walk away because you don't need to deal with him.
