I didn't file my taxes last year and i'm positive i was due a refund. Can i file last years taxes with this years?

Of course you can file 2005 taxes but you will have to file them seperately from your 2006.. You will need to use the 2005 1040/1040A/1040EZ form. If you were due a refund, then there should be no penalty. The IRS penalizes you if you owe them money but they don't give out extra if they owe you money. Go to www.irs.gov and download the 05 forms and instructions if needed.

You can't file an amended return as someone suggested since you didn't file in the first place.

You can download 2005 forms at irs.gov - go to more forms and publications, then click on "previous years"

It's too late to efile them - you'll have to fill out the forms and mail them in. They have to be filed separately from this years. This years will go on the 2006 forms, and can be efiled.

If you have a refund coming, you'll still get it, and won't pay penalties for filing late.

yes you can file your taxes, you have to file them with a specific form(notsure which one). Only a penalty if you OWE money,
they might charge you some sort of interest.

you can file an amended return. it is best to have a professional do it for you. there may be a small penalty though.
