Too much fruit...yes. It contains calories and too much in addition to meals will bump up your calorie count for the day. Too much diet soda is bad in other ways, it does nopt have the calories but it can cause excess stomach acid and make you more hungry;

There have been studies which have shown that ppl who drink diet drinks either don't lose any weight or even gain weight. Whether that is because they just drink more soda or eat too much other stuff has not been determined. Also, there has been a study which has shown that all soft drinks, regular or diet, are related to bone mineral density loss in women. Again the reason has yet to be determined, but why chance it? Best to drink water and/or green tea.
As for fruit, it is possible to eat too much but not probable. The thing to watch on fruit is its rating on the Glycemic Index, which is a measure of how fast it is converted to glucose (blood sugar) by the body. Anything you don't burn off is stored.

Yes and yes. You have to remember that fruits are carbs also, even though it is a natural fructose you need to balance what you eat. And as for soda, diet or not, it is not healthy for you. Studies have shown that carbonated drinks are not good for your digestive system,and other studies have shown bone loss in women between 18-40, who consumed 2-5 servings a day. I can't remember the percentage of loss over the trial period. Try drinking green tea, the egcg in the tea aid in weight loss.

Yes, it is possible to eat too much of just about anything. Diet sodas have only one advatage over regular sodas. They do not have sugar in them. Look at it this way, it is not what you eat that takes off the pounds, it's what you don't eat. You need to balance your diet with your activities.

Try water instead of the soda.....water is yummy, and your body likes it more than high fructose corn syrup.....
