I can't tell you how wrong the last person was about the toughness of the brissles. You always want to use soft brushes. Anything more can cause damage and recessed gum lines.
As for the temperature effecting bateria content... it doesn't matter. Our mouths are breading grounds of bacteria and a little more from some water will not adversely efftect you.
Long story short, soft brush and what else will make you brush on a regular bases.
ps - when the water is coming from the same source the temperature will not change anything unless its near boiling, a cold sample will have the same stuff as a warm sample

This depends upon the type of boiler you have installed.
If you have a hot water tank then NO it is not save to drink from the hot water tap as this water has entered the hot water tank from the cold water tank in the loft ..which has an open top and all manner on nasty things can fall in..dead birds for example.
However, if you have a combination boiler -ie one that heats the water as it passes through - then this is OK as the hot water comes straight from the main supply.

There is apparently a risk of harmful bacteria in the water, as it's not hot enough to kill them completely if they get in there, but hot enough for them to multiply. The risk is slim, but it's there... if you really want to brush your teeth with hot water, you could maybe boil some up in the kettle, that should be fine... or buy a soft bristled tooth brush? Or just do it from the hot tap? I mean, if you get enough of those bacteria, you will just become immune to them in the end... possibly, but a really nasty one could get you in the end all the same. I would consider your actions carefully.

Well I use warm water from the hot tap to rinse my mouth and to run my toothbrush under after brushing!! I have never been ill!! Contrary to popular belief the hot water in our tanks is extremely safe!! Bacteria is everywhere, and only in very large quantities can it be harmful!! There is not enough in the water for it to be harmful, unless of course you have a really old water tank, that is decaying away!! So don't worry!!

no,
The hot water is not as "clean" as cold, it contains harmful bacteria to your mouth and stomach if too much is absorbed into the body.
also the harder your toothbrush the better!
