I have no use for weak, tiny minds that quarrel by using worn-out labels (Christian, atheist, liberal, conservative), or that make it their hobby to insult others because of their beliefs.

That being said, are there any here that would accept the label "Deist" to describe their spiritual feelings, and if so, how do you react to all the other vicious Christian bashing and atheist baiting that goes on here?

Please weigh in and show the others that there are some mature people here that have no use for pointless religious quarrels; that it is possible to enjoy life without being "charismatic" or hateful.

Perhaps offer your particular view on life.

John Doe is absolutely correct in his views but, sadly they are NOT the views of many others.

We will always have the nay sayers, the doomsdayers, the end of timers etc etc.

It would solve many problems if all 6 billion human in this world knew that there was "an architect of the universe" and that nothing was created with that force.

Now if some chose to name that force Jehoval, or Yaweth or God or Allah and if some wanted to personalize that force and show him as some soprt of white bearded kindly old man that would be their choice.

But that is not likely to happen any time soon. So far there are now some 300 religions and the total number of humans killed because of religious strife far outnumber those killed by any other kind of war.

The only view I have is that Jesus took someone like me and saved me from myself and gave me an understanding how to love and that since he did that for me and it was free I should do the same. I was suicidal, love my friend is the answer.
Call me what you will,I call myself a child of God.

i am a spiritualist
and as such i try to see what i can learn from each and every person
so i see no ones beliefs as wrong
i can see truths in all
and for people to be squabbling about who is right and who is wrong are just wasting valuable learning time in my opinion
but each to their own
i will continue to do what i do and hope that others may see what they can learn from each other
