Your calls will be monitored but not in the way of listening ur day to day talks I think they have this device they installed which can pick up specific words in different languages then if u happen to be talking to Dubai and hit one of the listed words then definitely u'll make it to the list. However ur BF's activity will count more than urs because surely he will be watched more closely than urs but if they have a reason to put 1 and 1 together then ..........
I can't help thinking just by answering this question I may fall into their hands LOL

Yes.
Britain gives succor to terrorists, did we not hold Brits in Guantanamo bay, wasn't Richard Reid (the Shoe bomber) a Brit.
Abu Hamza, the 1 eyed hook handed terrorist mentor was allowed total freedom in Britain to preach his hate and instigate terror attacks around the world, until we asked for him, then the Brits put him in jail so we couldn't get him.
Britain had a deal with the majority of Islamist terrorists around the world. Called the contract of compliance, it allowed terrorists the freedom to live in and work out of Britain as long as they did not carry out attacks on British soil. This contract was declared 'dead' by a terrorist spokesman on national TV 2 weeks before 7/7.
So what exactly is your boyfriend doing in Dubai.
He is already on a watch-list.
Your calls will be monitored, he may even be prevented from coming here.

No.
Unless he is on a watch list of course.
Face it - for most people the only part of the US government that is really even aware that they exist - is the IRS.

Only if you talk about bombs or blowing up things other ways no. And if your not doing anything wrong anyways then how cares if "they" watch you.

If your boyfriend in Al-Queda(sp?)? If so, then yes. If not why would any body waste time and money watching you?
