in a way, you can't.
if you dont know anything bout this guy, and you're being pickie bout him, of course you only base your pickieness on his physical characteristics right? (and some female instincts maybe?). and you decide not to pick him because he's not physically ideal for you right?. so it's practically the same.
unless if you do know something bout him, then maybe you dont pick him because of his non-physical characteristics, maybe because your friend told you how he was such a jerk.
so the question shouldn't be about where do you draw the line, but to which point you have to stick with your ideals and adjust it realistically.

You know what you want out of life so only you can tell whether or not somebody else meets your standards. Of course, in the end the other party may interpret that as being shallow, but hey, you gotta have standards! =)

Well Mandie I think that if you date someone that you're not attracted too, then it won't work, so I personally have to have an attraction. Now there is different types of attraction for me as well.
