What causes a person to accept Christ is their realization of their sin and their lost condition. What keeps a Christian serving Christ is their realization of His love for them and how His direction makes their life better. All thoughts of hell are soon forgotten as we experience His love. Try it, you'll like it.

Heaven and Hell don't exist. People do worship God, even though he doesn't exist. They are emotionally bonded to the idea.
