You start out by filling out Forms I-130 and G-325a. You, the American citizen fill out Form I-130, and a copy of G-325a and sign each. Your husband will have to fill out his own copy of G-325a and sign it. Form I-765 comes later.

yup, I am from Spain and did the same thing not so long ago, the forms you will need are: I-130 (Petition for Alien Relative) with all copies of G-325A I-485 (Adjustment of Status) I-765 (Employment Authorization) I-864 (Sponsorship) make sure you send ALL the forms in just one envelope, read the instructions of all the forms as well carefully so there won't be any errors. The total will be around 2500 dollars, good luck buddy!!! any detailed questions e-mail me =]

Those forms have detailed instructions on what needs to be done and what supporting documents you need to turn in with them. Just read each carefully.
Since you are the one petitioning (im guessing because you are the citizen) you need to fillout and sign the i-130. i-165 is employment authorization form, he will need to sign it. Each one of you will need to fill out a G-325a. There's more forms to be filled out too. Check the www.uscis.gov site and you'll find all of them there.

Good luck!

It will be a great Idea if you find someone were you live to help you. Like an attorney or if you know of a friend. If you don't want an attorney to do all the work and charge your eye then make arrangements on how you can pay him just for helping you to fill them. or do some research online. I find a helpful site for you.
