Absolutely, although it is true that there is raw eggs in mayo, there is also vinegar in it and this kills any bacteria found in the eggs. Most everyone will say that they, or someone they know, has gotten sick from bad mayo, but more often than not, it was what the mayo was mixed with that was bad. Given that though, if I had ANY doubt about the freshness of ANY food product, I would NOT eat it. (it just ain't worth it)

I purely had some 18 month previous yoghurt and it became scrumptious. even though it have been sealed and saved interior the refrigerator all that component. If there is mold growing to be up the component of the pot or on the yogurt, i could supply it to the cat. otherwise, i could supply it a pass. Eiher way, i does no longer turn to anoonymous information superhighway consumers for advice.

The date is just the last date it can be on the store shelf. As long as the seal was not broken and you keep it in the frig it will be ok. It will not make you ill or anything like that.

Nope! I've gotten food poisoning from things made from Mayo and it's not an experience I want to relive.

If the seal wasn't broken & you keep it in the fridge, as you always should, you'll be fine.

mmmm....I would debate it for a minute, and then chuck the container in the trash. Why risk ANYTHING over old Mayo?

maybe . . . if it had preservatives in it and probably only if I really desperately needed it for the recipe. Otherwise why risk it?
