I dated this guy for 2 months.
For some reason, it worked but,
then again, it didn't.
I still love him, and he says
he wants to date again.
But He liked other girls when
we dated.
I don't know what else to do anymore, it
kills me and I don't know why.

Should I let him go, or
still try to want to be with him?

Hiya. You have raised most chronic, as well as, most complicated question of daily life, I would say. I am sure that many people may give out thousands of different and conflicting answers to your issue. I therefore prefer to be silent in this sense. But may I suggest you to read a nice and little novel, called "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho, to learn the greatest and simplest philosophy to find love by yourself, as he describes saying: "I love you because the whole universe conspired for me to come close to you" and, see how in the desert, Santiago, the hero, meets his "twin-soul" and discovers that love is the core of existence and creation? As Coelho explains, when we love, we always try to improve ourselves, and that's when everything is possible. When you really wish for something, the whole universe helps you to achieve it, because everything in this universe has been written by "one" hand and speaks and understands "one" language. People may name it coincidence or luck or will-force. Nevetheless whatever we may call it, it exists.

I think it depends on what you mean by "he liked other girls"... do you mean he cheated on you? or do you mean that he was always looking at other girls and making you jealous? or does it mean, that he just LIKED other girls?

No matter what - I would say think about why you broke up and if this guy is really worth it!!!

Remember, I would have to say that no matter what you decide to do... it is your decision. We can offer advice, but only you know what is best for you. I would suggest that you really think about why you broke up and if you have seen changes with that portion. Are you happier with him or with someone else?

Finally - You sound like a nice person, and I am sure there is another guy out there that will treat you with the respect you desearve!

Good Luck!

Is he going to be chasing every other girl out there or just you.
if he is going to cheat on ya all the time the only thing you may get out of this is hurt feelings
It maybe easyer to remember you allready said goodbye once
maybe you should leave it at that.
It is easy for him to run back to you now if he has no girlfriend
at the moment. but what about tomorrow will he be there for you
or just there with you.

Its difficult to move on but you really should. Look at it this way- The longer you stay with Mr. Wrong, the longer you delay meeting Mr. Right!

If you have strong feelings for him I would say try again but explain that you want him to be honest and not go out with other girls anymore.
If he really cares and wants to be with you he will compromise if not, I would say let him go.

Let him go, if he comes back then he's yours and if he doesn't come back then he wasn't yours to begin with.
