It could be anything from same day issuing up to 3-6 months but this all depends on how much you are willing to spend to get it.
With Same day issuing you will need to actually go down to the office which issues passports and speak with the people there and you will need to pay up to £80+
If you want to save your pounds you can opt for a few weeks/months waiting period so it may be anything from £30+
Go to your local post office and ask for information on getting a new passport and they will give you full details on how long you will need to wait and how much to pay.

If you apply now it will take 4weeks,But if you do it during the holiday season it can take up to 10weeks for a full British Passport.But if you pay i think it,s about £80 and you go to the passport office at Victoria you can get it the same day,But be prepared for a long Waite.

2 weeks if not peek times you need to fill out a form ls01 and submit your old passport if you still have it and 2 new photo's countersigned at a check and send service it costs you approx 7 pounds plus passport fee but you guaranteed to have it back in 2 weeks

It depends what country you live in. In Canada right now because of the new rules to travel to the US it could take up to 3 months, depending on the back log.

from my experience and that of my family it takes 7-10 days by post as long as you dont apply near there busy of easter and july-august.
you can apply through your post office which can do it express. there is a charge. if you do it now im sure you would get it within 10 days!!

its all been said could take ??????
But the last time i had my pp done.
I filled the form out and paid the post-office to check it over they also sent in off for me.was back in 8 working days,but that wos 9 years ago.
