A thought in Orthodox Judaism is that there was going to be 2,000 years with out Torah, 2,000 years with Torah and 2,000 years of Messiah.
The first division was when Abraham started to teach about God, the second was when Jesus died (He promised that He would be with each of us, and He could not do it in a physical form, but He can in Spirit).
If we have the date of His death right (30 AD) then He would be coming back in 2030, in about 23 years. Of course the 7 years of tribulation will start in 16 years (2023).

they must additionally pay interest incredibly: neither Josephus nor Pliny the greater youthful have been alive in the process the meant time of bible jesus, so in spite of if Josephus' "testimonium" became particularly something he wrote (and it particularly is sparkling it particularly is not), it nonetheless would not be a as much as date checklist. i'm no longer able to count quantity how many situations some believer has published at here "There are Roman information of Jesus from his time." No, there are not. Peace.

the bible is a demonically inspired book intended to tear this world apart (oh look, it works) jesus will come back when science figures out a way to clone his DNA from some supposed relic, but the church is so corrupt with false relics that when jesus is finally cloned and every one agrees that it is jesus in the test tube, the adult product will be a black woman with a hyper active sex drive

How can we know that Jesus was here 2000 years ago... Heck, they changed the bible (King James), the changed the Calendar... How can we know that christianity isn't just stories. History is being made as we speak. There are groups that are denying the Holocaust ever existed. And that was just in the last century. If history can be written in 60-70 years so easily, isn't it plausible that the whole bible is just a story?

About 2.16 billion Christians and 1.2 billion Muslims believe that Jesus ascended into heaven and will be returning to bring all people to God or Allah (as it is with the Muslims).
That is about 3.36 billion people who believe Jesus will return.
You have a lot of work cut out for you if you expect to change the minds and hearts of 3.36 billion people.
He will come in his time, and if you have not joined in the delusion before then, things will not go well with you.
That is not a threat, just an opinion.

Got anything else you want to criticize about Christianity¿ Knowing you have some smart answer to everything relating to something you know little about really makes you stand out with the other non-believers so get in line.
Jesus will return when God says so... I'll still trust in that until I die and find out if I were right or not.

Delusions are never given up easily, because they seem very real to the deluded.
I just love how people make stuff up, and then use the bible to back them up.
The language is so ambigious, you can see just about anything in any given passage.

When will you give up YOUR delusion that He ISN'T returning?
Perhaps you'd find it enlightening to read Ezekiel 38 and 39, which is near to being fulfilled. Russia will instigate an invasion of Israel, joined by Iran and other Muslim nations. The Bible states this will happen in the "latter days," i.e. the end times.
You seem like a reasonably intelligent person. If you can refute the Ezekiel 38/39 prophesies, we'd all like to hear it.
