Hi,
The chicken, as the creator of the egg, had to be created first in order to create the eggs to evolve into chickens.
The egg needs to sat on by the hen for the warmth in order to hatch, and after hatching, it needs warmth, and feeding by momma. The commercial hatchery's use heat lamps to keep the chicks warm. Without the heat, from mama or a lamp, the eggs will not hatch, and will become rotten inside.

Eggs came first. Chickens evolved from their non-chicken ancestors who were also egg-laying birds, therefore the egg must have come first. If you trace the Chicken's evolutionary lineage you will eventually come to a point where its ancestors are single celled organisms who didn't need eggs.

The egg came first. Dinosaurs were laying eggs millions of years before one of them hatched a chicken.
