I am getting married on this day. Thankfully its in a small town in Kentucky so I am able to get all the vendors I need. We chose this date for a couple of reasons: one is because that is the date of our "anniversary". We started dating on July 7 of 2000 so we will have been dating for seven years at that point. It will be easy for my fiance to remember our marriage anniversary that way! And two for me it is a bit lucky but more so I feel lucky because of the man I am marrying. God will be watching out for us even if we didn't choose this date!

lucky? why is it lucky? oh thats my birthday, so if i get married that day, will i be lucky too? i dont think so.. the date doesn't really matter. as long as you both are ready to face the altar, then go for it.. we're getting married on 10/20/07. i was thinking about 7/7/7 but too many couples are getting married that day, so never mind..
goodluck to all the couples that are getting married on 07/07/07...

Nope. I am getting married on 9/29/2007. I have heard that there are going to be many weddings happening on 7/7/07. Best Wishes on your special day.

I am not getting married that day, because really it isn't about the specific day you choose at all, it's about the marriage that is going to come of the wedding!!
I have heard this and I understand people think it's cool, but I don't think it's lucky!! If anything, getting married that day is going to cause these couples a little bad luck as "most" vendors plan on raising their rates and costs due to the increased desire to get married on that day!! So have fun spending the extra money if you are one of those people getting married this day!!!

since i was a little girl i always believed that the number 7 was my lucky number. Who knew that 20 years later July 7 2007 would land on a Saturday. I do consider the number 7 a lucky one and I wanted to get married that day my boyfriend doesn't want to so instead I'm going to baptize my son. It will always be a special day for me.

My photographer has a staff 7 people, she said she was completely booked for that date 2 years out!! with all 7 people and herself- and she is STILL getting phone calls about it.
It seems very popular but 2 years to book 7/7/07, kinda crazy.
I am getting married Nov 3, 2007

I was thinking about that date for our wedding, but it's such a popular time and day of the year and I didn't want to spend thousands of more dollars just to get married on a "lucky day". Instead we decided on something that was meaningful to us..4/11/09...our 3 1/2 year anniversary. It'll be your "LUCKY DAY" no matter what date you get married, not because it's all the same numbers.

Dear Lisababyg,
I am not getting married on 7/7/07. I am not even seeing anyone at this point.
But I want to share with you that my daughter was born on 7/7/77 so she will be 30 on that date. We laugh about it a lot and 7 is her favorite number but I don't believe in luck. Rather I believe in God's blessings.
Not only was my daughter born on 7/7/77 but my best friend's son was born an hour earlier that same day. Our due dates were a month apart but being a diabetic I had a C section 2 weeks early and she was 2 weeks late. I didn't even pick the date. My doctor said he would schedule me for Friday of that week and I asked if it could be on Thursday since all the rest of the family had Thursday birthdays that year. The date didn't dawn on me until afterwards.
The husband of my roommate in the hospital went from being a local club singer to becoming nationally and internationally well-known. Unfortunately I didn't get his autograph.

Well I'm already married.
It's also the first long weekend of the summer. It's a common weekend to get married anyways (I got married on July 3, 1999), so a lot of people would be getting married then no matter what.
If people think it's "lucky" good for them. I think it's silly.
