Can anyone update me on the status of "Rusty" the overfed Chocolate Lab?

I live in the U.S. / Other than hearing that the 2 brothers who overfed him were arrested for cruelty to animals. There hasn't been any follow up with regard to the condition of Rusty at this point and or if he will be returned to the same owners.

*edit* OMG! The poor dog! I just read an article that stated the dog has lost 45 pounds, and the brothers have the dog back and can keep him on the condition that he doesn't gain any weight.

The poor animal!
