im wanting my hair shaggy, razored cut, funky (whatever you want to call it) can anyone suggest a really good website for this type of hair cut, wanting it done for my 21st! i have long hair and want to kep the length, every time i have asked a hairdresser to cut my hair choppy, they always talk me out of it but i really want it done, ive cjanged hairdresers loads of times because they try to put me off why?

Say "No, this is what I want."
Or leave when they try to talk you out of it.
Because if you stay they might do what they want.

well you are kind of contradicting yourself. for choppy razored layers you kinda have to take a big off the length at least in the layers. You can keep your base length but still a bit will come off. we ask questions like that so we don't start cutting and your like " oh my god-you just cut 4 inches off the top!" so you have to be willing to part with some. If you have said all this to a hairstylist that you didn't care about that part-well then it's just their fault. some people are scared to cut with a razor too. I think higher end salons the people have been trained more for that. here's some pics I found

most hairstylists have not been taught how to use a razor, much less how to use one PROPERLY. they don't want to screw up your pretty long hair (because they don't know how to do their job).
ask around town "who does razor cuts?" or ask someone whos hair you like who does hers. go to that person and ask if your hair is the correct texture to razor cut.(some aren't)
