I use bottled water when I am abroad, however at home I prefer tap. This is because it is a lot cheaper than bottled (especially in UK restaurants). Also there is a scam in UK restaurants where filtered water is sold at the same cost as designer mineral water - even though it originated from the restaurant's tap. What puts me off about bottled water is the length of time of storage, which can be months in a hot warehouse, and potential leakage of chemicals from the bottles. So until they can prove that bottled water is totally free from organisms and chemicals I am sticking to tap.

At home, I use my Brita water filtration system. Out, bottled, to ensure no bad water taste, which can just be the worst thing ever.

I dislike drinking plain water - it actually makes me sick, but if i really have to drink it then tap tastes better to me. Unless i go on holiday. Water always tastes different in a different part of the country. Why is that???????????
