John 14: 1-3 says: "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
"In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."
So Jesus will return. Right now he is preparing ffor us to live in heaven.
2 Peter 3:10: "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."
His coming will be unexpected. Hence the need to be always prepared for his coming. I am ready and hope others are also or are preparing.
Joel 2:31: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.
These two events have occured. The dark day and the moon appeared like blood both occured on May 19, 1780.
Jesus also said in Luke 21 that the stars will fall from heaven before he comes. This happened in November 13, 1833.
When these things begin to come to pass, Jesus said, "then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh."
Luke 21:28

It is said that first will be the beast. He will do umbelieveble things and the people of Earth will think that he is the one.But in time,he will turn countries over eachother and it will start a terrible war. That's where Jesus will return and will banish the beast to hell, where he will be chained for 1000 years.
Sooo I think I speak for all when I say that we are not yet ready for Jesus' preasence.
I do agree with you about all the signs.Much more deaths that in the last 10 years, more natural disasters thatn in the past 10 years. These are all signs of an end...But theese signs are some of a new start.I do hope that I will not live when the end of the world comes to us.
And I forgot to mention something...
In the war,the devil will have a great advantage but when he thinks he won,God will send all the good spirits of saints and other people. That's the point when he will lose the battle.
I hope the information above helps you!
God bless us all!

I think that you have an overactive imagination. Jesus will not be coming back anytime soon.
As I am sure you are well aware of, doom sayers have been repeating that same mantra for 2000 years. Do not let yourself succumb to this paranoia.
Go outside, get some fresh air and enjoy your life.

first of all i want to say that no matter what you may say or think all of you rude, and blasphemous people who answered this question, will bow your knee to Him one day, and then you most certainly WILL NOT be saying or thinking these things. secondly in answer to the question.if you TRULY love God and are TRULY saved than you are always ready. i believe in the perseverance of the saints, so my answer is yes i am ready.

WARNING! CHRISTIANS WON'T LIKE THIS
MAYBE READ SOMETHING ELSE...
In this vast infinity there is an invisible little blue speck. That's were we live.
Our existence, on a universal time frame, is less than the blink of an eye.
How Christians would expect anyone with even HALF a brain to believe that all of this was made by God ESPECIALLY for THEM is beyond me.
I'm so tired of Christians spouting quotes from the bible like it was a text book of final truths! You may as well read me stuff from the back of a pack of breakfast cerial. That was written by men too!
MAN wrote the bible NOT GOD!
Other thousands of years it's been translated, abridged, edited, parts have been omitted, parts have been lost and yet Christians still blindly go thorth reciting it as though it were the VERY WORD OF GOD!!!
How many times has Christian doctrine changed over history and, in particular, in recent times to accomodate a changing society?
WAKE UP!!! People just aren't that gullible anymore! Maybe in the dark ages, yes, but now we are more enlightened. We have a clearer picture of our place in the universe, albeit not a very big one...
That's where the trouble lies. That's why all this belief in God and aliens and the afterlife, etc. We all cannot face the possibility that this is it. That we are an invisible dot on an invisible dot in the middle of infinity for the blink of an eye and then it's over.
I can understand that!
Heck, I don't like that prospect either but making up Gods and blinkering ourselves to believe no matter what contradictions we may find is childish and primative.
The world is on a decline and as a result all the sheep are turning to God.
It's understandable... but PLEASE! All you blind, gullible, blinkered yes-men for Christianity I DON'T WANT TO HEAR YOUR PREACHING ANYMORE!!!
Go off and quietly believe all your little beleifs that are going to save your souls while the rest of us get about the business of pushing the human race forward and hopefully reverse the mess the world is in as a result of all YOUR quarrelling religions!
I apologise for the outburst... but if only you Christians could hear yourselves... CRIKEY!!!

The only people who are ready are the one's who thought he was coming several times in the past.
They did not unpack their suitcases, they STILL think it is any day now.

Not really, since people like you have been saying the same thing since the guy died, linking wars or instability in every era to prove the end of the world is nigh. Jesus is dead but their are alot of people named after him
