I'm not even ugly, in fact, people have told me I'm pretty, but I feel uhly as hell. If I look in the mirror and actually look nice, I'll start thinking the mirror is making me look better. Can mirrors really make you look better? I'm so insecure, I won't even look people in the face during a conversation. Please help, my low self-esteem is KILLING me!

Well for one you need to learn to take comments when people give you one. If they see you as pretty, and you see the same in the mirror but do not want to believe it , well i would say you need to change the way you think. You need to turn the negative thoughts that you have of yourself to positive and believe them, and if you can not do that on your own, i would sugguest that you go to a therapist and get help with it. Cause you need ot like , and love yourself to have good self esteem.

Confidence is all you need. Walk taller and dress up more. Whenever I dress up I always feel better about myself. Go shopping and get some new cute clothes and if you don't wear make-up, try a little. Always look at people in the eyes when you talk to them. If you come across to shy as people then you wont feel pretty, guys LOVE a girl with confidence, even be a little cocky sometimes, but jokingly!!! You'll be fine!

umm... i'm not sure. i do that a lot sometimes. and i don't think they do make you look different in any way. just be yourself.
