If we are created in God's image then in what image are extraterrestrials created in?

As far as we know, the universe is infinite with literally countless amounts of galaxies. You would be ignorant to not believe in life on other planets.

Also, does Religion believe in Extraterrestrials?

This is a great example of why God is a man-made construct. Our forefathers were so pompous to believe that our species is so significant and that the sun rotates around the earth... We need to grow beyond such ignorant thinking.

How do you know that we are created in God's image ? If Charles Darwin is to be believed, we have descended from the apes, by evolution. If we could somehow understand the apes, they may also be telling their children that God created apes in God's image. After all, he is a God, of all animals too.
There may be life in other planets but religion so far has limited perception and covers only humans, because religion is also a kind of business, and is sucessful if maximum number of humans believe in it, and subscribe to it.

Sure there might be extraterrestrials. But I am superior to them just like I'm superior to animals because I am a man created in God's image and they are not.

Questions like this are good, if you want to see the types of crazy things and assumptions people can come up with, because of course, no one really knows. If there are extraterrestrials I bet they look pretty similar to us, and God's image.

Sumerians reported (several thousands of years before the Bible) that a species from planet Nibiru came down to Earth and 'created' homo sapiens in a lab, modifying the DNA of an already existing species of two-legged shaggy Earthlings by adding to it 2 bits of their own DNA. (They called the DNA, the Tree of Life, or Life Essence, which was shaped like two entwined strings made of 22 bits each, that could determine the image and all the feature of each individual).

Sumerians report that they created us 'in their image'; so, basically the answer to your question is that extraterrestrials look just like us;) at least those coming from Nibiru;) although, the very first man's skin was dark red, his head hair was black and he had an extra piece of skin of the tip of his malehoood which made him look different from the Annunaki = 'Those who from Heaven came down to Earth' ;)

Religion was 'invented' to control as many people as possible by selling them a fairy tale...Sumerians tell a real story, the technologic and scientific details of their report are amazingly reasonable and logic! And they wrote all this something like 5000 years ago...Homo Sapiens was a brand new species, with no ancestors...a new breed...and only a very advanced species coming from another planet , with a deep knowledge of physics, genetics, chemistry and technology, could have possibly fashioned a brand new breed;)

We are created in the image of being a creator.
It is simple but most people miss this.
We have children don't we?We are God's children aren't we.
Gee whiz.
As far as the universe,it would be stupid to not think God could have other individuals on other planets.
I love keeping up with the Hubble space telescope and I can't see where anyone could not think God could created life on them to.

if there is intelligent life on other planets (although I seriously doubt it), that fact would not conflict with the written word of God. ETs would have the same creator of the Universe - the Lord God. Jesus Christ died for all mankind but in the process, He died for the redemption of all creation so ETs would have the same Savior and Lord, although Jesus did not die for them specifically.

Having said that, it simply and powerfully points to the extreme amount of love and attention God gives this little planet and us little human beans to think that we and we alone are created in His image and that God's own Son came and lived and died among us. I believe that, yes, we are absolutely unique in this vast universe and that the search for intelligent life on other planets is a chunk of wasted time - although the idea is very neat and romantic for writers and movie makers.

Talk about faith - you believe that there are ETs out there without any proof whatsoever!!!

god bless

Maybe they're created in His image too. God could create life on other planets if He wanted to. He's universal so I would assume other life on other planets would also be created in His image. I don't think we have any way of knowing for sure though.

And God went on to say: “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness, and let them have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and the domestic animals and all the earth and every moving animal that is moving upon the earth.”

He said in our image not His image alone. His spirit creatures and humans were created with the same qualities as God.

What made you think that 'religion', or Christians, would ignore science? Of course we realise that life in other galaxies is possible. Personally I feel that knowledge of the vastness of the universe left me in even more awe of the greatness of the God who created it all. It has also left me more humble, realising that we don't have all the answers.
