The 22nd for sure, make your own romantic holidays rather than going for one established for everyone.

Feb 22 has more significance to you two than Valentines day. Its the day you two met!

I like the idea of getting married on your day, not just a holiday. My friend got married Feb 12th, 7 years to the day after they met.

Get married on the 22nd. It's more meaningful than on Valentine's Day, plus it will be cheaper and easier to find vendors who aren't already booked (church, reception hall, flowers, limo, etc.). Florists are SUPER busy before Valentine's Day, so your flowers will be super expensive on or before the 14th, too. Also, having it on the 22nd allows for a higher guest attendance rate. When you get married on the 14th, your guests can't spend Valentine's Day with their loved ones, since they'll be at your wedding! Don't make them choose. Show your guests you care (and save a buck!) by waiting until the 22nd.

Go with Feb 22nd, or the weekend right after. You can still do the red, pink, and white hearts theme. (It's okay until the end of February)

We're getting married on the day we met, which was December 16th, and I highly recommend it! (It makes it easier for hubby to remember your anniversary, heh)

No question. I would do the 22nd. Here's why:

I have to preface with my background. I was born on Christmas, so I know how it is to share your special day with the whole world. I also know a couple people with Valentine's Day birthdays, and they HATE it.

Trust me, you don't want to share your day with the entire world. You want a day that's just for yourselves.
