This year is the first year that Indiana has lifted their limit on the number of antlerless deer a hunter can take as long as one does not exceed the antlerless limit of the county one is hunting in. We can only kill one buck (no antler restrictions) no matter which or how many seasons you hunt per year. For example, my county allows 4 antlerless deer to be harvested. If for some reason I wanted more, I would have to hunt in a different county. Deer tags run about $25 each no matter the sex of the deer, but after the first antlerless tag each antlerless tag after that is $15.

Basically 3 to 4 deer a year depending on the zone here in Arkansas. Does are taken by archery, by doe permit with modern gun or by youths as their first deer. So a 1 doe limit is in place unless otherwise stated for your zone.

Heres a link to the Arkansas Game and Fish website.

In Texas one can take six deer including one Mule deer and not more than four antherless (or does). Of course, this depends on the county. Not all counties have Mulies.

Yeah, we're getting plagued with paper work here also. If we give venison to anyone it has to be accompanied by a letter explaining who killed the deer, where, etc. Makes one want to start collecting stamps! LOL!

i live in northern ohio, where you can only take 1. middle ohio you can take 2, and southern 3, so if you take the max in each zone, then 6. if you go to southern ohio, and apply for a nussience permit, you can take as many as you want. i recently heard about someone who shot 280 in one weekend. he would clean them, and let someone else take it after he tagged it. i guess they are getting over populated down there.
we have to fill out a form within 2 days after the kill, and every deer must be "checked in." my parents own a small meat market where we check them in, and process alot of them. this year i believe we processed somewhere around 600, and i skinned almost half of them(keep in mind gun season is only a week long + 3 days extra this year). 12-13 hour days of skinning are not much fun.

Here in Montana, if you count archery, and late season, you could get around 15 or 16 antlerless tags, but only one antlered. I have never witnessed anyone getting that many tags, but you could.
They offer extra tags in alot of areas, we always pick the closest area to where we normally hunt and get just 1 or 2 extra doe permitts.

Here in Nebraska, you can take as many does as you want, bucks are a little different story. I think at most you could end up with like 3 or 4 bucks.

In Illinois, we can take as many doe's as we want. They want us to eliminate the doe's to keep the herd under control. Can only take 2 bucks.
We have 2 shotgun seasons (2 permits), 1 handgun, 1 muzzle load (2 permits). Plus unlimited number of bow tags, as long as you only take 2 bucks.
All our reporting is either online or call-in.
