So my best friend is a year younger than me, we obviously share a lot of the same interests because we're great friends, but i honestly want more than that, and I'm not sure how to go about it... because he's a virgin, the type of guy that would never pursue someone of the opposite sex, very religious, and really shy when it comes to talking about anything like that. He makes suggestions sometimes, but they're not very clear... like we talked about it one day, and his answer was "i would never tell you if i like you only because i'm not that type of guy". when we're together, we're both extremely happy, we're on the phone at least 2 hours a day, and we know EVERYTHING about each other, he buys me flowers on special occasions, we're pretty much dating but without the title or even knowing if we have feelings for each other... what should i do?

Keep being best friends first of all. If you are young enough to mention that he's a year younger (a mere trifle) you have time to let things develop and they certainly will if stay in friendship. It will more than likely take him a little longer to develop those feelings because some guys develop that way slower than others.

get it out in the open.
I'm assuming that since you're so involved together as friends that you also share an interest in the same religion..?

If not, then maybe he's more open to sinful things than you think ;-)

get him drunk
