My boyfriend called me monday of last week and said we needed to go on a break. That we weren't over. This crushed me, because I was crazy about him....we were in love. So I gave him the week he asked for and called him yesterday, on his birthday and our 6 month anniversary. He didn't pick up. I tried a few other times later, after finding out from a friend that some girl was staying with his family. Eventually, a girls voice came up on the message instead of the normal nextel message. This really killed me, because I knew he was getting rid of me. It hurts so bad to be in love with someone and learn that for the past week he has been telling others you are broken up so he can be with some new scuzz. I think part of it was that we didn't have sex, but I'm not sure. I know I need to look to God to help heal this, because I know that somehow this is all part of my plan. If anyone has any verses of hope or healing, please let me know...I'm numb and scared, I feel so alone. thx

Good for you. Just pray and give it to God. He is working all things for your good if you will trust Him, love Him and put Him first in your life.
I remember being taught that the devil will present his best before God presents His best. If he was so shallow as to leave for someone else without telling you the truth, it's better now than in an engagement or after the alter vows were said. Also, better now than if you had a child out of wed-lock. Count your blessings! You can be proud of yourself for maintaining your integrity and if you continue on, God will send you a man of worthy character for your lifelong companion. You are not alone. God is with you and promised to give peace that passes all understanding. The key is to keep your mind stayed on Him and on good things for that perfect peace to keep you. Don't lean to your own understanding but seek ye first the kingdom of heaven. All things work together for good to them that love the Lord. One day you will look back and probably thank God that you didn't go on to marry the guy.

First off calling the girl a scuzz shows you have issues yourself.
I would suggest you ask the Lord for the wisdom to see yourself so you can be fit to have a man.
With an attitude like you have a broken heart is inevitable.

Im really sorry that that has happened to you. He obviously wasnt right for you. any guy that would care so little about your feelings doesnt deserve a second thought. I really havent got a bible verse for you but just wanted to let you know that someone worth you time may come soon. Whenever you rely on people you are going to get burned. People will always let you down. Human relationships are never a sure thing, which is why you should be careful of your investment in them. Don't ever think that sex will keep a man---it won't. Don't ever think that getting pregnant will keep a man---it won't. Try I John 3 and 4. It will take time, but in time the emotional pain will subside. You may also find Psalms, Proverbs, and Ecclesiastes useful.
