Does anyone know what it might be? Sometimes, when I press my hip in this leg, it does hurt a bit. Thanks.

It hurts from the top of the thigh and sometimes from the hip down to the knee.

Please dont see a GP, they wont have a clue as they specialise in general medicine not musculoskeletal disorders...

See a physio, your GP will refer you.

Sounds like you could have a problem with your back (probably disc orientated) affecting nerves in your legs, this toothache pain is often associated with nerve injury.

Its impossible to tell you what to do without seeing you first. Take painkillers as you feel the need, and keep moving, dont sit for too long and try a gentle swim...

Dont listen to people diagnosing you on this page, they just dont know unless they are qualified to say otherwise.

See a Physio.. after a quick check with your GP

Hopefully you are well

Your family doctor can refer you to the proper doctor to evaluate your pain. Most specialist these days require a referral for you to see them and want to know what medicine you have already tried to relieve it. Sounds like a bad disc in your back pinching a nerve...that will run pain down into a leg and yes even down to the knee. Doesn't mean surgery, in fact, I just had to have a month of physical therapy to relieve the tightness around the nerve to solve the pain. Good Luck

You should see your GP. They should be able to determine why you're having these pains. I mean, did you have a fall or knock your leg? They should be able to give you painkillers or send you for referrals somewhere that is equipped to figure out the cause.

Hope this helps
