I just heard that it expands your stomach and I know it has a lot of carbs. Just wondering

Rice will expand in your stomach only if it isn't fully expanded, which people typically don't cook it correctly, so typically it will expand a lot, but you have to add water for it to expand. You see, rice absorbs the water and expands, just like you absorb your food and expand.

Yes, actually it DOES expand in your stomach. Rice, potatoes, and pasta made from white flour you should try to avoid as much as possible. Stick to healthy carbs, like whole grain pasta, bread, oatmeal, ect.

I prefer the brown rice. Better tasting and better for you. Eat fresh foods, avoid processed. Cook with olive oil...very good for you.

it don't expand in your stomach unless you eat it uncooked, when it is cooked it absorbs all the water it can, so it will not swell anymore, you are not supposed to throw rice at weddings because birds eat it and it swells in their belly killing them. that is what your friend is talking about

don't eat much rice only a sufficient quantity is enough

eat that and your body will burn that first that's what carbs are for:o)
