Why not stick with the tried & true fundamentals? Put out the word that God is speaking through you, you have visions of the future, of heaven. Do some prophesy. Heal a few cripples. Preach "prosperity gospel" -- the idea is that if people give you money God will make it up to them with dividends. If God doesn't make it up to them claim that they didn't trust God to give enough to your ministry and that they should dig deeper. It worked for Ted Haggard, at least until he got exposed, but I bet it was fun while it lasted.

Jesus came to bring the world the truth, it is not His fault that greedy people have used this to gain wealth and power, the early church was not like this at all,it was poor and honest and was very faithful to the message of Jesus.
I see what you are saying and I too dislike the greed and falseness of a lot of modern day Christians, who by their behavior do great damage to the pure teachings of Christ.

This idea isn't original unfortunately. Consider this; "A man approached the well known Jadley Rand and said 'I am here to found a new religion greater than that of Christianity.' 'There’s one thing you’ll have to do' said the wise statesman. 'What is that?' - 'You’ll have to be crucified and rise again from the dead. The boaster was put to confusion." (author unknown)
