Hi - how do I find out how many houses there are on each street in my home town of Hitchin, Hertfordshire in England ?

I need this information for a project I am assisting someone.

Find the town using GoogleEarth and count the houses.

This kind of demographic information is usually available via your local government office at the town hall.
