Further to a previous question I asked, she never turned up at our Xmas party, she no longer works at our office but we still communicate daily, on a non-work basis and the banter is still as good as when she was here. Although her being attached is a moral obstacle, I still feel very strongly about her, but have never told her that, although she may suspect. Maybe I ought to bury the feelings and leave well enough alone... Suggestions please ?

yes hard as it may be you should leave this go - shes with someone else - think of the heartbreak youwould cause to her current partner - and like a lot of things once you actually had her you may loose interest - often its the chase of the game that is more interesting - then when you get what you want you discover you only everwanted it coz it was unattainable.
If its hard for you to step back romatically from this person then maybe you need to cut all - or drastically reduce communications with this woman. Yes it will be hard -but as the old saying goes out of sight - out of mind.

Attached as in dating one person or married? You don't say. I think that if someone has made a commitment prior to you being in the picture, it's best to leave it alone. Plus, I don't believe any blessing comes from purposefully causing others heartache. I have seen many couples who are together like that, and I think 'if they'll cheat on so-and-so, he'll cheat on me.' No prize there. Moral strength, integrity, trust, respect, and love are all so closely intertwined, I don't think you can have just one of these qualities to succeed in love, work, and life.
