I have the same problem, im 165cm tall and weigh 44kg, I always have.

I tried every weight gainer there is on the market, I put on only 2kg and as soon as I stopped taking the shakes the weight just fell off again.

I ended up going to the doc and getting blood tests and stuff like that, looks like im lacking a vitamin that allows the body to absorb fat from your food.

Firstly try the weight gainer shakes, they are pretty effective (you can get them from health food stores but are pricy).
if you find that doesnt work go see your doctor, it may be something medical that standard methods wont fix.

Good Luck, I know how you feel

Many people would do anything to have that curse.
To add weight easilly, just consume more calories which is very
easy to do. Eat 3-5 chocolate bars per day + cheddar chese sandwiches with lots of cheese + A MCDONALDS milkshake.
In 2wks to 1 month you should have gaines signif. amount of weight. Go for 5000 calories per day.

I read in a mag the other day they advised a lady trying to put on weight to drink complan like someone here have advised you to already. I know when patients were very sick and could not eat they used to advise them to drink complan as well. I will not say geeez you are lucky to be thin , i know it upsets thin people as much as it upsets overweight people too. I wish you all the best , drink high proteien drinks as well, i know when body builders want to add bulk they drink them as well. Take care and eat a chocolate for me. :))))

My Son has the same problem. He has started body building and taking various body building mixtures, but the fact is you can't change your shape to any great extent. Some people would say you and he are so lucky to be thin!

Hi Anita I have a really fast metabolism and am also very skinny. I managed to gain some weight using body builders milk shakes, but as soon as I stopped drinking them it all came off.

You could ask your GP to refer you to a dietician who will be able to guide you to a heathly way to gain weight, I'm waiting for my appointment to come through :-)
