Are we the result of a Time Lord going back in time, to find the beginning of life on the Earth, and on finding nothing and no start of life, when they left, does the Tardis automatically flush, and thereby start life on Earth.

Could this explain why we are in the mess we are in now?

It is dumped into the Time Vortex while the ship is in flight, sorta like how airplanes used to dump their waste in mid-air. Where the crap floats around time and space until it is drawn to like matter. It then deposits into the scripts of shows like 'Grey's Anatomy' & 'Desperate Housewife'.

Actually, they do a series of micro-jumps. Each time, their internal waste products don't travel with them, and are left behind. It wouldn't do to have your pants around your ankles if a Dalek turned up, would it?
