Hi Emz,
Lasagne is real easy to make, you can make it with almost anything. My favourite is a seafood lasagne. Take a look at this site it has loads of recipes.
www.bbc.co.uk/food

My fail safe tip for you though is make sure you have enough sauce to cover all of the pasta sheets as they go really dry and horrible.

good luck and enjoy your lasagne

Here's a tip chop up some streaky bacon and fry that with the mince, This gives the lasagne a nice moist taste and will stop it drying out, when it goes in the oven.

Also Lea & Perrins Worcester Sauce, a few spalshes of iit will do gives it a "real kick" some extra spicy flavour is nice.

And don't forget the mushrooms! Very important.

All the best.

I make a wicked lasagne, always end up making it for friends when they come round! You just make your tomato sauce - fry garlic, onions, mince, tinnned tomatoes - whatever you want in there - throw in some courgettes or roasted veg as well if you like! Chuck a knob of butter in a saucepan, when it has melted, add about a tablespoon or two of flour until it goes thick - stir for a few minutes to cook out the flour, then add about quarter or half a pint of milk in drops not too much at once, so the milky sauce is nice and thick and creamy. Then I add some cheese and a pinch of nutmeg. Get a roasting pan ready, make sure your oven is up to about 170-180 degrees, drizzle a touch of olive oil in the bottom, then spoon in a third of the tomato mixture. Then layer some lasagne in, then add in some of the white sauce and continue layering until it is used up. (Not everyone does this in this order, we just like it). At the end, finish with a layer of lasagne and then the white sauce on top, sprinkle on some cheese and herbs (dried is ok) and bake in teh oven for 30-40 mins. Yummy! Good luck! The best tip is just make sure your lasagne is cooked and not crunchy.

Let me tell you a quick way. you can use oven ready lasagna noodles, which means no boiling water for them cook your meat, drain, add you sauce, onions, green peppers, salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, basil, parsley, a lil bit curry powder to add some spice, a pinch of sugar. once your meat is finished, layer your lasagna with the meat, add your cheese mozzarella, cheddar, and provolone, or your cheese' of choice. layer until your pan is full and bake at 350' for about an hour covered, then take your cover off and let it brown for about 10-15 min.

Keep a tesco's one in the freezer, just in case. Well if your cooking is like mine then you will. Hang on, if your cooking is like mine then you probably wont bother in the first place. But, your cooking is evidentally not like mine because your going to attempt it. I'm gonna shut up now. Good luck. x
