What's wrong with Norton. I've been running it for years. I've even isolated a virus program, tried to delete it but couldn't delete it. Emailed it to Norton. Norton made a cure for it and emailed it back to me. Also, I had trouble with an older version, seems as though no tech support was available for the particular version. I asked tech support " since no tech support was available, could they extend my new upgrade duration of service the amount that I had paid for on the old service. Sure no problem". Had something like 512 days. You just have to ask, and be patient with tech support. Always take down c of c numbers. That is confirmation of contact. They didn't have to do that.Top that service with any other company.

I like Norton...but there is AVG...it is a great software since it can go through your files. it has a virus vault telling you which files has a virus inside...it is really really good.

Bullgaurd. Since I ditched Norton, I have noticed my PC speed going up and it has been free of any spyware and viruses. It's an under-rated programme but one that I would recommend. Very easy to use.

I have always used AVG Virus Protection, it has free updates, easy to use, and is effective. If you try it I'd get the free edition.

AVG free, Windows defender and firewall, Spyware doctor, Turn off auto complete. You are now protected. Spyware doctor can bog down weaker computer resources however.

I would say it's a tie between Kaspersky and Avast.
Avast has a great program and you can get the program for home use for free on their website.
