If you mean that its freezing when burning try different software or a different drive, if its freezing after you've burnt it and you're playing it again, try different burning or ripping software.

If its a DVD you've downloaded it may just be a bad copy

if the movie pauses for a short time then it keeps going it it does that repeatedly then its the burn speed try reducing the speed
