I am wanting to install maybe a spiral staircase or wooden. The builder will have to knock through a wall to install it. Can you give me a rough estimate of how much it would cost?

depends on the quality of the spiral staircase. I would say the whole job would be 2,000-4,000 depending on the stairs you choose. Of course you could easily spend 15,000 if you wanted really nice stairs. Spiral stair cases are bad because you cant get beds or mattresses up them, you cant get dressers and stuff of that sort up them.

depending on weather you are goingto have the staircase hand made if you do you are looking at 10,000 to get it made and installed.with out it getting made you are looking at around three grand.that estimate is based on a straight stair case not sprial which will prob cost more.i know this cos i had one done.but i had mine hand made.make sure you dont use a cowboy.as they are more expensive to put right after if they get botched.
