On the "what did Jesus look like?" question and other questions about his looks/race in this site, most people there answered that Jesus was brown, olive skinned with dark hair color, how could that be possible? most Jews I've seen nowadays are white with hazel eyes and light brown hair. So why everyone thinks Jesus wasn't white? if most or maybe all of the Israelites are white nowadays.

Jesus came down as a jew. and before Jewish people migrated to colder Europe, they were olive people like the italians and greeks. so maybe Jesus looks similar to italians and greeks.

I answered your last question, because this seems familiar.....I answered that Jesus was born from Nazarth and would look like someone who was also born from there....although Joseph had to travel to Bethlehem because of the census, would mean that Jesus was cross nationalities.....

What Jesus looks like then or now, or even when we get to heaven is of no consequence to what He said or did. Would you judge someone telling you not to cross that busy intersection without the green light because he was a different color?? I think not,, but what he had to say/do to get you to cross that intersection is the important thing, either by whistle or hand motion, and that is what Jesus did, only He did it to glorify His Father in heaven, since Jesus was born here on earth. How or why He did it, out of love for us, but sometimes I think those people that cut me off without a blinker should go to he ll. That is just human nature, though, not liking one another

For us to scrutinize what color of skin was Jesus is a no question, you should be better off asking why people think He was so and so color.......

I'm not sure if this is politically correct to say, but there are different types of Jews. There are Jewish people whose ancestors are from America, and they practice Judaism and have similar physical features (often light skin, curly hair, etc.). There are also Jewish people from the middle east, mostly in Israel but also in other countries. For example, my fiancee and his family are Persian (from Iran) and Jewish.

The term "Jewish" is used both as a description of race and of religion, and does not always refer to the same group of people (although their religious beliefs are the same).

You're kidding, right? Jesus supposedly lived 2,000 years ago, before ordinary people traveled to different continents and distant places and mixed with other groups of people.

Jesus' coloring likely would have resembled Saddam Hussein. Of course, the image on the Shroud of Turin looks remarkably like Osama bin Laden. See here:

You don't really see any Jesus today. These are all representations of how people think he was. And the image of Jesus as being white with hazel hair comes from the byzantine representations of Jesus

forgive me for my confusion. some say Jesus is the son of God. Others say that Jesus is God. Since little, i've always wonder how Jesus can be the son of God and the God at the same time. And now some people say that he have child. So, that baby would be like the grandchild of God and also the child of God? So much confusion. Who have the final say then? God-father, Jesus-God or baby-Jesus God? lets have some critical thinking about that

The geneticist found a particular set of Genetic mutation results that was strongly associated with the priestly caste, not so common among lay Jews and very rare in non-Jewish populations. He then tested DNA samples collected from the Lemba Men.

Research showed that the proportion of Lemba men carrying the genetic signature of the priests were similar to those found among the major Jewish populations, strongly supporting the Lemba tradition of Jewish ancestry.

And the DNA sequences were particularly common among Lemba men who belong to the Buba clan, the senior of their 12 groups. The Lemba, from South Africa and Zimbabwe, believe they were led out of Judea by a man named Buba.

In the Bible/Torah/Torah Zimbabwe ,Sena and Ethiopia are mentioned in the Bible. That 3,290 children were led out of captivity during King Solomon time. I come from Isreal but my ancestors are from Mutare, where my fellow Lemba Family settled. It’s about time people accept Blacks as one of The Lost Tribes Of Isreal.

I am Atieno and l am a Black Jew from Israel and my ancestors settled in Karoi, in Zimbabwe. My mother's relatives are from Israel from a place called Senna.
I am now Living in the U.K.

Check out the url, it talks of others jews, mostly the ignored
ones.

Have a pleasant day.

The most important thing is not the physical appearance of Jesus, but the teachings he gave and left for us.if one has the appropriate devotion and if one is following at least half of the teachings what he gave, then no need for them to imagine, they will surely be able to visualise Him!Peace to all!!!

Jesus was from outer space. He had gray skin, big black eyes, and no hair. He was about four feet tall, with a great big head and a spindly little body. Some people say he had a halo, this was probably just light reflecting off of a force field. He also used antigravity shoes to walk on water, and alien medicine to heal the sick.

Who knows what he looked like. He probably had lice and was dirty and smelly like everyone else of the time. Does it really matter what he looked like anyways? Would it change the image you have in your head of his image?
