Muhamed is our prophet he is the kindest and merciful man ever when islam prevailed long ago ther was jews and disbelievers and christans he told them to stay in the country if they want and he did not force them to abide by islam and for your information in our holy book we were asked to love christians and to be friend them as they are the people who proteced our prophet when he imigrated from (makah) to (al madena) in saudi arabia some people mix politics with religion and concerning what happend in 11/9 it was not revealed yet who did it some people claimed that all the jews in that date paticularly did not go to their work as if they knew this before it happened and but concerning what happening between palastine and israel it is not the matter of religion because israeli soldiers kill more than hundred man and women and child daily if they retuned this back to them so it is think it is their right to do so it is a conflict started long time ago and religion has nothing to do with this as there are christain palestinains there also and the holy church in which jesus christ had the last supper there also our religion calls for mercy and love we were not asked to kill anyone we were asked to love people ,help the poor ,and respect other religion.
do not take it as the whole muslims are like the terrorists
because some people understands religion in a wrong way.
you can also read about our religion and we will see how Muhamed our prophet peace be upon him was a kind man and you will also see the tolerance in our religion.
u know something i would feel annoyed so much if i killed an insect like an ant for example so do u think i can kill a human being .......... please read about our religion from good sources
god be with us all

I think that he was born around 600 A.D. Lived in what is now called Saudi Arabia, which was a center of commerce at that time. Apparently many different cultures lived there including Jews. He heard about the Jewish religion and went to live in Jerusalem for awhile learning more about the Jewish religion. He went back to Mecca in Saudi Arabia and started a religion that kind of united a bunch of disjointed tribes that had been warring against each other. I think that the Muslims consider him to be a hero for that. They believe that he is a prophet of Allah, their word for God. They believe that they have to earn their way into heaven. Christianity teaches that the only way into heaven is to accept the free gift of salvation; it isn't possible to earn it.

There are many books on Mohammed, unlike Christ his life was fairly well documented. From an atheists perspective he seems to have been a tribal chieften more assured than most and pretty ruthless when he needed to be. I suggest you get a couple of books out one written from a secular and the other an Islamic perpective.

He was a Prophet of Allah (God), the last Prophet according to Muslims.

Like the Muslims today? Thats only what you see on tv, most Muslims aren't like that. He didn't promote violence, and taught them to fight wars only in self defense. He also said not to kill children and women in wars.

The last bit is completely false and has no basis. People take verses out of context to prove that "point".

Mohammed was the Prophet in Islam.

He was nice, and no he didn't say violence was good.
I'm not a Muslim- I think the word of the Quran should be respected by muslims but since I am not a muslim i can say I don'tr believe in it.

If Allah exists, I'm not feeling Him in my heart. I relate to Christianity and Buddhism more.

have a good day
me ;)

Muhammed is one of the greates decievers ever. Because of him that a false religion got started and now they believe in the most.........let me not forget I'm on the internet. Muahmmed is nothing but a liar, a man created like the rest of us and then claimed to be a prophet.

guess in today's fast moving world of technology, one just need to have a clear conscience and do good deeds. That's what is lacking in the human race.

Muhammad (pbuh) was the final Prophet of God.
He was a man.
He was a kind and loving man who was known as "The Truthful", among others.
The perfected religion of Islam was revealed to him.
He was an orphan, who was poverty-stricken for many years of his life.
He chose to live a simple life rather than an extravagant one; even after Prophethood.
We are not allowed to kill anyone - Believer or not - without proper justification eg, on the battlefield in time of war. Even in times of war, men are taught to show mercy to women and children of the enemies.
Access to Heaven is gained by living a pious God-fearing life, not murdering innocent people. I have never murdered anyone in my life and do not intend to either.
Muhammad (pbuh) was a gentle, peaceful and kind man. He DID NOT promote violence and even told men to treat their wives with kindness.

Why did I get so many thumbs down from FOOLISH PEOPLE, for ANSWERING THE QUESTION honestly??
Why do so many feel THREATENED by the TRUTH??
