No no never.

But think if your father would have decided not to marry today you would not be here to ask this question, as at that time living together was not norm.

Giving birth to offspring and bringing them up is nature's law. You are bound to have kids by nature. Then why not getting kids after getting married. Why we always want to go ULTA (opposite) to our nature and society.

I am waiting for the day when I will see a question here "Is it mandatory to have food and go to toilet?"

Marriages are made in heaven..... this means that marriage is completely on destiny. Weather it is must or not, it's actually not known - as some people suffer in a marriage and some get all the happiness in a marriage. some people marry for the sake of marring for different materialistic happiness. Some for Physical Happiness, but people who marry for LOVE and to satisfy ones spiritual requirements is a real marriage....
God Blesses That Marriage - so just don't think - if it come to your life and the partner is according to your likes and your viberations meet then you should marry....

Marriage is your call. If for any reason you do not feel like ' marriage material ' then put your foot down. do not succumb under parental peer or society pressure.
You have NO RIGHT to spoil the life of another person just so you could not say a mere "NO".
Everyone enters into a marriage with great dreams, do not wither it for your spouse.
To cap it , marriage is not a MUST in life if one is not up to it.

Marriage is most important psychological event in a persons life.

As you have lived/grown with your parents as child and then see couples around then it becomes natural for you to have your own family.

It,s more emotional than any thing else .Physical relationship and children get approval from society and you feel part of the society.

If you can manage without all these no problem, but believe me many times in your life you will feel lonely.you would like to love and care for somebody but that somebody will not be there, you would like to play and bring up children (you will be seeing everybody your age doing same ), but they aren"t there and these will create a vacuum in your life.

If you don't feel like that, that's you are not a family person then marriage is not necessary for you.

No! It was seen as an important aspect of life but today people realize that committing to one person isn't always the best option. The high divorce rate proves this. Why not read up on polyamory, it is a much more logical alternative to monogamy.

In my opinion, it is an option, not requirement. Many monks attain peace and happiness without involving with opposite sex. On the other hands, many people suffer through marriage most of the time in their life. But to be fair, many become more happy when they have partners which are in sync.

No, not everyone is intended to be married. Nobody should ever get married only for the sake of getting married, it would be better to stay single than be unhappily married. Some people find they crave the emotional closeness of a partner and if they find it, they might consider marriage if their most important values match up. These values include things like money, raising children, and spiritual values.
