How AM I patient? Simply because there is no reason to be “impatient”... all is the way it is for a very good reason and when you see it you will know it! I AM of no faith, for "faith" is "belief" and this not the truth of knowing and understanding that which must become known!
You have good answers, I appreciate your work.

wee have a proverb in arabic that says " if someone bad utters bad things then it is not bad". In other words those people with sick minds are like mentally sick people and you should not stop to their babbling so you just ignore. However there is always light at the end of a dark tunnel and it is good people like yourself who make it worth the time and effort spent on this Yahoo Q & A. Sometimes we want to scream out thta people should not judge Islam by the bad influences of some of its followers and look at the Quran and life of the Prohet to know what mercy they brought to the human mankind.

it is very good question ... i wonder too why don't we just accept one of each other No matter where u from or what his religion is ... why don't we have all an open mind... talk free without fair of other's comments...i don't know may be they have a problem. prophet Muhammad was dealing with many different kinds of people he never fight them because they are different ... on contrary he deals with many Christians and Jews with completely peace .... i make him an Example of my life .. what the other's example in life ..!!!!!! .
Pls read this;
The legal position of non-Muslims living under Islamic Law, which was set down by Islamic Law over 1400 years ago, had made Muslim societies from Spain to India a model for religious plurality and coexistence at a time when religious tolerance was virtually unknown in the rest of the world.
Non-Muslims living peacefully in Muslim lands can be divided into two categories. These are:
1. Non-Muslims living as citizens in Muslim lands (dhimmîs)
2. Non-Muslims who enter the Muslims lands temporarily with a covenant of peace.
The dhimmîs live in the Muslim land under a permanent covenant whereby they pay a fixed annual levy in lieu of the protection of the state. In return, they are allowed to live in peace and security without being obliged to engage in any military service. This annual levy is also in lieu of the fact that they are exempt from paying the Zakâh tax that Muslims are obliged to pay on their wealth, since Zakâh is an act of devotion that can only be carried out by Muslims.
Historically, at times when the Muslim government could not afford protection from enemies to the non-Muslim citizens living in the outlying regions of the Muslim state, this levy was returned to them in full.
They are citizens. Their rights, their lives, property, and honor are inviolable. They have the right to employment, education, and commerce. They cannot, however, hold certain government posts that would place them in charge of the religious affairs of the Muslims.
Muslim forever

As disheartened as I am by the ignorance out there, my patience and appreciation (for understanding people like you) supercedes it. I have no ungrounded malice towards anyone. I believe fully in the Quran. As for hadiths, I pick and choose them to my liking. I often use hadith qudsi as a spiritual guidance, because rather than constituting a legal standpoint they give advice and moral lessons. I believe in the hadith and Bible on about the same level. May God guide us all to the right path. Peace.

First of all I would like to thank you Thomas on behalf of all muslims. I guess we try not to answer those people who spread hate & false facts about Islam for alot of reasons.
When you have a mission to spread hate you are just too blind to see the truth.
And I will talk about myself & my reasons for not answering them.
I only answer people who really want to learn something about Islam (and i only answer after i research very well to try to get an accurate answer IN ENGLISH)
and I do admit that alot of times i do not even look at questions about Islam & Muslims because it really annoys me how people take words out of context & how they do not even bother to try to read about it first then ask about what they did not understand.
and since I am held by my actions infront of god I will not stoop to their level & The Holy Qur’an tells us that “man was created weak” and thus falls into sin often & this is how I think of those who spread hate (THEY ARE WEAK)
Islaam also teaches that life is a test, and that all human beings will be accountable before God. so is it not better to ignore them Knowing that God will punish them.

It is very hard somedays to be patient with people who attack a religion they know nothing about. My husband just ignores their bigotry and I often wonder how he stays so strong and does not react. When he has difficulty with it, he prays and he always feels better. Muslims have a loving heart and even though people attack them, they keep their faith, their resolve and their goodness. So many here people could learn from that.

Hey that took some balls for a non-muslim to say. I'm proud to be Muslim and although I'm not very religious (lived in Cali all my life), I find it really sad and shallow when people bash muslims or the koran or muhammad or whatever when they don't even know what theyre talking about. Good luck in life.
