absolutely just begun!!!! The dishes, laundry, cooking, vaccuming and cleaning never ends. Even if you have a job..you spend the day there and come home and never even have time to sit back and relax (especially if you have a husband- they make as much a mess). Men need to step up to the plate and start helping out and maybe we can relax and watch something on tv we want or take a nice hot bubble bath for once

This is true for mother's and just for women in general. Did women's liberation help us that much. Now it seems to me that our generation now works a full time job out side the home plus take care of the children. Run them around to there activities. Then there is the household duties. By the time you can sit down you just fall down because you are the exhausted. Then in the morning it starts all over again.

Oh come on please.... I am a Dad to 3 teenage daughters and also their Mom as my wife died 4 years ago. I have a full time job and travel around the country and yet when I get home everything is clean and tidy, the house spotless, clothes washed and ironed, garden immaculate, pool and jacuzzi sparkling and the cars washed. So where does this nonsense about is a mothers work ever done....please!!! Mind you it does help having 3 full time maids and 2 gardeners around.....

I feel that a Mothers work is never really finished not even when they leave home. being a mum myself I have to say that it has been the best thing to ever happen in my life and I look forward to many more years of my work at least another 25.

No, it is never done. By the time you get to the bottom of the list, it is time to start over again. By the time everything is clean and everyone is fed, then they have messed stuff up again and you need to clean it and then they need to eat again.
However, there is nothing more rewarding than a mother's work, so that makes it all worth while. And it makes you feel really needed, too!

just when i think i'm done my 2 year old will undo she's like a tornado that is never tired and i had no idea that i would ever be ready for bed at 7 pm up at 5 and do all the things i just did yesterday i always say that to myself "didn't i just do that?" being a mom is almost like losing your mind but well worth it when your 2 year old says"your my best friend" or" mommy your a beautiful princess" even though you actually look like hell and fell like it also.... no i am never done i just quit for the day

Yes when you smarten up and learn to delegate chores--and stop breaking your back taking care of everyone that is old enough to care for themselves--after you are completely confident they can run the house you book a cruse with a couple of your best gal pals and have some long deserved fun--
