The standard Spanish word for raincoat is "impermeable" yet there seem to be a lot of regional words used in Spanish too. A Mexican lady once told me that she called it "La managa de hule." I've read that capa de agua, gabardina and piloto are also used in various places in Spain and Latin America. A few sources I've looked at mention capa and capa de lluvia for Puerto Rico. Is this true? If any Puertorrican (Boricua) speaker of Spanish can fill me in on this I would really appreciate it. Garcias / Thanks!

La managa de hule - Should be La manga de hule. Puertorrican - Also spelled in English Puerto Rican. This spelling may be better.
