Whether I am a Hindu, Muslim, Christian or Sikh is my personal matter of faith and understanding, is it not ? Why is there so much bloodshed and politics about such a simple logic.

The war of religion will end today if we can make all religion's members agree that their way is merely another way, not a better way. All religions are good religions teach us to be good people and have mercy for one another no matter what race or religion they are in. Stop competing and instead, honor differences among religions, the war of religions will end.

It isn't a war of religions. It is a war between good and evil, truth and deception, light and darkness, God and satan. There is one True God. He teaches love and peace to our neighbors. This doesn't cause bloodshed. Those who hate the truth of God and turn it into lies are the ones who will shed blood to silence that gospel message. They are of the anti-Christ spirit. So, it will not happen this Utopia on earth you are wishing for. Real peace comes from Jesus Christ, that peace that passes all understanding, not as the world gives and therefore the world can't take it away. Not even through persecution or blood-shed. It is a matter of faith and understanding to know the One true God, the way the truth and the life and that there is no salvation or remission of sins without the shedding of blood and Christ already shed his blood for the sins of the whole world for all of mankind. Jesus came to seek and save that which is lost and it is not His will that any should perish but that all come to repentance and have everlasting life. Jesus makes the world a better place. Thank God for His Son, the light of the world who sheds His light and love through us. Now that is simple logic!

Wars are not fought over religion. Even Muslim extremists clearly define political goals. The bloodshed is over ideology, resources, economics, form of government... very, very rarely religion.

More people have been killed in the name of religion than for any other reason. God commands his followers to go to war and to kill people. It's not surprising that some of them would obey the Bible.

religionsa are not the cuase of the war we are in. almsot every religion preaches peace. however , people are manipulating their religion to attack others. yet religions are not the only causes of the absence of peace and instability in this worls. there are also economic reasons. besides ethnicity and ethnocentrism are fueling the wars.for example, the massacre in rwanda is not fueled by religion but by ethnicity.

Because religion teaches you "My God has enemies, his enemies are my enemies. Since they hate my God I hate them." With this Bullsh*t in your head makes killing others in the Name of God really easy.
Get rid of organized religion.
Amen
