God simply cannot be proven to exist because of the nature of God's existence. Spirit can only be discerned through spirit just as flesh can only be known through flesh. This question has been asked quite often on this site, yet the prevailing answers would seem to indicate that 'intellect' has 'evolved' to the point where Man has no need for a 'God'---I completely and utterly disagree! How many of us require "proof" that we are alive? Most of us take for granted that we "are" simply because our 'evidence' consists of data that requires our own active participation through both input and output--we know that we exist because we labor and toil to sustain ourselves. However, not a single one of us can disprove the existence of anything outside of our own 'lives' without a 'single' doubt. To the abundantly rich, they may not be able to conceive a poor person--or to the mind of a genius a double digit IQ--our knowledge of all else is limited to our desire to find it--our disinterest or refusal to do so however does not nullify the possibility of a thing nor does it reduce the 'need' of a thing we cannot perceive. For a person that has never known Love, does that make Love non-existent? If or when Love is perceived by that person, will their 'proof' be considered undeniable fact of Love's existence? Probably not. God, Love, and Life are individual experiences that are left up to us to share with each other--until we disprove the last two, I think we have a way to go before we can successfully delete the first...

They deny the existence of the soul, they don't train and use their spiritual vision, so they cannot see the evidences about the existence of the One True God. Don't worry, God allows man to freely use their rational sense, so they will realize some day the necessity of searching for the invisible realities.

Well, partially because parents stopped being Godly parents. Partially because we stopped being involved in public schools and pulled our kids out for private Christian schools and left the school boards and cirricula to be taken over by the liberal left socialists promoting secualar humanism. Well, the school has stolen the minds of our children since they have them more hours of the day than their parents often do. The adults? Wow. I can't explain them except they were slammed with more liberal leftist garbage from college professors and should have known better but maybe never had any real faith in God to stand on for themselves outside organized religions that were dead and dried up so they just gave up I suppose. At some point a person has to refuse the knowledge of the truth of God and His Son Jesus Christ and the validity of the Word of God. It is truly a matter of the heart and no amount of intellectual arguing will win them to God only His spirit calling and their answer whether it is Yes or No. God says in His Word they are without excuse simply by seeing the things He has created.

Because there is not a jot of evidence for god, evidence from authority does not count. If there are so many how come you didn't list even one.

There is NO evidence that God exists, just as there is no evidence of the existence of the thousands of gods and goddesses that were worshiped for centuries before him. You're welcome to your fantasies, though.

Such as? I've been on this site for a while and have not heard one shred of evidence to support your claim. Back up your so-called evidence and I'll shut up.

Because everyone has a choice what they believe and you should respect it if you want them to respect you.
You may feel strongly enough about your religion to feel that it is the right way, but nothing makes your beliefs any more valid than anyone elses'.
Spirituality and faith are all subjective and the only way to have a harmonious and peaceful society is if we all respect each other's beliefs and freedoms.

We don't believe because there is no proof? What is this evidence your talking about? Tell me please!!
And don't quote the Bible and don't say patterns in nature because it is scientifically proved that man is a pattern seeking creature (This means we see patterns where there is none). So ME YOUR PROOF?
and we use our heads.
Amen
