all you need to do is a windows repair with the OS cd
put the cd in reboot hit any key to boot from cd when promted
youll be asked at some point if you want to install or repair
choose repair then it will ask if you want windows to repair or do you want to use the recovery console
choose let windows repair
the computer will do some stuff then reboot
sometimes when it reboots the pc will work right away it will go right to your log on screen
most of the time after reboot it will go through the same process as if it were installing windows for the first time
but dont worry its not
just let it run and when its done everything should be ok
good luck

try to boot from your windows cd. Put the cd in bay and restart, press any key to boot from cd, when the installation begins, choose to install new, F8 to license agreement, in the next window press R to repair installation, follow on screen instructions. This will keep all other files intact and repair your windows installation.

I suggest you don't have power to your PC - either battery is flat or you have not paid your electricity bill.
