yes. sadly i found this out the hard way. i went through a really stressful time in my life a few years ago, and it caused me to lose a lot of my hair. the official term for it is aloepecia. u might have heard of the tv presenter, Gail Porter ? well, she's lost all of her hair to this problem too. sometimes it grows back, and sometimes it doesn't. i was lucky, mine grew back, although i have an interesting streak of white hair now ! the main problem i found when i was going through this difficult time is that some people can be very nasty & narrow minded. i took to wearing a hat all the time as i got sick to death of people staring & passing nasty comments. so if u ever see anyone - particulary a woman, who has this problem, please try to treat them like anyone else. they are not any less of a person just because they've lost some of their hair !!!

Just before me immigrated to Uk my hair fell out in clumps. It was horrible and i worried that i would lose all my hair. Another thing that happened to me was i lost some of my excellent eyesight i use to have. Lots of things went wrong all due to stress. The most stressful thing apparently is when you move house etc. But yes, losing hair is usually a sign of stress. :)))

very much so. It can cause hair loss and if you are not eating properly due to stress, it can seem overly dry. When I get really stressed out, my hair falls out in chunks.

Yeah, about 15 years ago when my grandmother was at her worst with Parkinsons and my grandfather had a heart attack, my mum lost clumps of hair and the dr said it was all due to the stress and worry she was under.

yes of course it can
it can cause alopecia areata, grey hair isn't a stress thing, it happens because the hair looses its pigment and this can happen at any age, stress also doesn't cause male pattern baldness, that happens because of a loss of a hormone called androgen

stress can cause all sorts of problems for ur body and ur hair, it can make it limp, brittle, weak, turn grey and fall out. it affects ur hair because when ur stressed it makes the hair weak and tends to fall out.
