You should atleast do10-15 push ups daily......or any other exercise....when you will exercise or do any work out.....body will demand more calories due to which you will eat a lot.....and your problem of gaining weight will be resolved..i have done the same and now i weigh around 65-70kgs....and fortunately my height is also 5'7".....or else you could take potatoes, banana in your daily meal....

depends on the kind of weight you want to gain. If it's just fat, then eat a bunch of fast food for a month, overeat, and you'll get it well within a month. If it's muscle, strength training. You may have a thyroid problem, so go see your doctor about that

I heard of this actor who needed to gain 40 pounds really fast and he ate nothing but peanut butter till he reached that weight.

Dont compromise your health for a few inches (fast food 'diet' etc)

muscle weighs more then fat, try taking body building supliments before working out, try different excercises etc.

You're ok. You don't really need to gain weight. If you do, you would want to loose it after a while.

According to my knowledge your weight is OK. Even then if you want to increase that, you have to do a lot.

Take food items which can provide you lipids, fat etc.

You probably have a fast metabolism (meaning it burns fat very quickly with little activity) and with exercise your metabolism grows.
