Hii, My name is Jessica.
I have a few questions, but first I'd like to explain the situation to those of you who are willing to help and give suggestions....
I have just moved into this Apartment complex about 2 in half months ago, About a month in a half ago, A mexican family of 7 people moved downstairs right below me, At first I didn't associate with any of them, Then I met the young daughters that live there, they are 4 years of age, and the other is 8 years old. They have 3 cousins that live with them, None of them speak English out of the 7 of them, except their dad, and the two daughters. Their mom & cousins are learning to speak English every day. I hang out with their family every day of the week, and I teach one of their cousins how to speak English & He helps me speak Spanish. Well I have a huge, huge attraction to this guy, and I know he is attracted to me, But we just can't go into deep conversation because we only speak a certain amount of each others language...........

I am really really attracted to him...
But I just don't know if it could ever work
out between us, because of the culture differences, as well as the languages........

My questions are.....

In your opinion,
Could it actually work between an American woman, And and Mexican man, Who can't yet speak each others language but soon will be able to.............?

Meeting him has really given me the motivation to speak Spanish.

Another question I have is...
Should I be learning spanish just for him?
Or should I be doing it for myself and my education more?

I have an absolute attraction to him...
I honestly feel like I've known him before,
He gives me a comfortable feeling...
A warm feeling,
I just want to know your opinions upon the subject.

Any suggestions would be great.

And the last, but NOT least question, is ....

Does any one know of any really great
Spanish sites I can go to so that I can learn
spanish really quick and really well.?

The main answer/opinions I seek,
Is if you think it's possible to actually be with someone, from another country, and another culture... I really, really like him, and I want to convey it to him with body language, or in some other form that I can because I can't speak the language. . . . I need him to to know that I am indeed interested and that I am studying spanish so I can get to know who he truly is.

Please help!!!!!

after reading everything you just said and all of your questions one thing kept popping into my mind. you want him. and it sounds like your willing to work for it. so go for it. most things in life that are worthwhile may take a bit of work. your both trying to learn each other languages so as you both progress in the area things can only get easier. think of this as the hardest part, if you can make it through this than any other little problems you have you can look back and realize how much you each put into the relationship and that you can get past anything. as for why you should learn Spanish, well there are some things that you have to do for that special someone but it doesn't have to be just for him. it can be for him, for you, for your togetherness, for your education, everything. it doesn't have to be for one specific reason. so to sum all this up i say go for it, use body language more for the time being, and do whatever makes you happy because that's important in life. good luck. :)

Miss, if you really love the guy and he feels the same way, then I would say that the conversations will come if you help him learn English. The most important thing in any relationship (or possible relationship) is whether or not the person you care about cares about you. Equally important is simply whether or not the person you like is a good person. If he is interested in learning English, then by all means help him to do so. It would be foolish to disqualify someone from being your significant other on grounds of language, etc. This is a barrier that the two of you will be able to overcome, if the two of you love each other, respect each other, and want to be together. Hopefully this advice will help you.

That was a read, yes it can work. in every hood across the country white woman are doing fine in mixed relationships. Eventually he will learn a lot of english and you will in turn pick up his language better. Sometime we speak the loudest and best when we say nothing at all. Grab him on the next lesson and give him a kiss, I think you two can handle it after that.

WOW. That's a really really long question.
Anyway, the answer is yes - go for it. You will overcome the language barrier somehow. It took me 3 years to fully understand the language my boyfriend speaks - and I'm still learning it everyday. If you two are so attracted to each other, just give it a shot.

Yes to alla your questions. I would like to tell you that you can do anything in love and for love. This is your golden opportunity and you should not let it slip through your fingers.Spanish is a great language and you willl definately learn fast. Something about languages is that you get to learn them fast when you are speaking them. May be you could attend and evening class. I bet you have done something for someone so it is your opportunity to do this for your love.

Lot to read but did it anyway. All I know is that I wish I lived in the apartment below you. Just learn the language for you.
